About the Application
w3 Responder is a cloud-based accountability software that provides real-time GPS locations for all responders during an emergency. With only one click, responders can use their mobile devices to go responding and the software comes to life safely tracking each responders’ location and providing invaluable technology at your fingertips. Every responder, regardless of rank can then access a dynamic map displaying each responders’ location, incident location, and the surrounding area. From the moment of dispatch, the OIC can orchestrate resources, incoming apparatus/crews, and better delegate tasks/resources. Responders are also given an all-safe or check-in button and an emergency SOS button that alerts all the other responders. Responder’s status is automatically updated when getting within proximity of the incident, reducing the amount of interaction required with the application. Following the incident, the OIC can cross-reference responders’ status with current operations to ensure all responders have cleared the incident safely. If there is a responder emergency at any time during the incident, the responders’ location is available. This software provides additional safety, accountability, logistics, and resource allocation for responders while they risk their lives for their community.
